My favourite cluster necklace made with my favourite czech beads :)

I made a detachable charm. I am so not good with charms, because I cant make up my mind of where to put in on the necklace. I wanted to have it on the chain, I wanted to have it on the clusters of beads and on the cluster of beads, I wanted to have it between so many intervals of beads !!! Phew...So, I detached it, and I can place them at many ways that I like.

I made 4 of these.

 Priced at MYR 32, all of these will be going to Pipit Zakka Store and will be on sale by November 2011.

Oh, and that pink bellflower *( 3rd from left ) , i reserved it for myself :)

It is been a while since I created my jewelries using the stringing method. The Czech flowers inspired me to use the stringing method, as I really had no idea how to create a bead charm out of it. I think I am addicted to the seed beads which I recently bought.

Another chic vibrant bracelet made with Czech glass beads of various shapes and colour. I am seriously addicted to the colour - Olive Green :). The olive seed beads really bring out the charm of the bracelet.

I actually constructed the necklace first, before the bracelet. That explained why the beads used are not similar but I love how olive and peach actually matches perfectly. Very vibrant, it took me some time to work with the olive beads, as I did not know what was the best colour matches it well. The white roses were added after I thought I completed the necklace, and it turns out whimsical !!!

My beads from the States arrives just a week after I made my payment to the seller. 

Yay !!!

But of course, you pay for the postage which it a little pricey :), considering I could purchase more of my vintage and premium Czech beads with those postage fees. 

So, what is in the parcel? Czech Seed Beads. Ya, Seed Beads all the way from US. My colleagues commented, " Malaysia also got what??! " Yes, we have seed beads locally, but it is very China :) . I like the uniform size *( I purchase size 6.0-around 4mm ) and its quality. Also, I am always looking out for matte and solid colour seed beads and the size, at least 4mm. You can see the seed beads in my new design in the next post.

The contrast here, is the Czech Sea Green focal bead and the Czech Brown Bellflower which goes serenely with the glass pearls and lt. pink glass beads. The bracelet just felt so carefree and nice.

I've created the mathing necklace with the remaining beads from the bracelet. Having not creating a cluster necklace for sometime, I like the whole necklace, and that I manage to put the patterned clasp to the front end of the cluster. A carefree necklace that goes well with a white top :)

An extension to Evamiere : A colourful post

This bracelet is an extension from the Evamiere series *( let's called this the original Evamiere ) While posting up on the previous lariat & bracelet, this was still sitting on the beading table, unfinished. I wanted this bracelet to be a simple one, because I actually liked the opaque white beads strand from the original Evamiere design. So, I thought, why not, just having one whole bracelet with this design...

Then, from here, I so wanted to use the craft ribbon which I bought from a local art shop. So, I added the ribbon to the existing Evamiere Papilon. I adore it !!! There are so many possibilities with the craft ribbon...and for it to go with my style of design, I will need to explore more and improve the overall final design. Meanwhile, enjoy...

Evamiere & A Lariat Necklace

I wanted to create my usual style of bead charm necklace. I thought again - boring, ah-ha...So, I re-assemble everything again, and looking at the bead cluster that I have the lt.green/purple cluster vs the opaque white cluster - the two can be knotted together and dangle as one !!! *( whee...) . Two separate dangles knotted together and become a cluster of beads on a lariat necklace. Typical lariats necklace measured between 30" to 40". The longer the necklace it, the more variety of ways it can be tied or knotted around. A lariat does not have clasps or toggle. For Evamiere, you can take both ends together and tie them in a simple overhand knot. Adjust the knot position to create along or short dangle. This usually works without a layered strand and can be worn with almost any top. 

I'll update this post again to show how can you wear the Evamiere lariat necklace :)

The bracelet is constructed using purple dyed Howlite stone, lt. green bellfower, 4mm blue glass bicones and   4mm white opaque faceted glass beads.
